It's finally October. This month, I will give you Halloween-themed drinks. Back in 1692, in a small village in Massachusetts...Some of you may have heard of it. The residents called it Salem Village, and no. It is not in present-day Salem. The present-day town is Danvers, Mass. They changed their name shortly after the Salem Trials aftermath. I wonder why...
Witch's Tit
2 ounces Coffee Liqueur
1/2 ounce Heavy Cream
1/2 Maraschino Cherry
Pour coffee into a cordial or pousse-café glass first. Add cream by pouring over the back of a spoon so that it floats on top. Place cherry at the center.
This drink comes from The Everything Bartender’s Book. Love you b****!
And in case if you are wondering, there is a Salem, Mass. In 1692, the town was now as Salem Town. This place does differ from Salem Village. They were two different areas, despite having similar names. Isn't folklore interesting?
