Why I am here

My wife and are both that caputre product of another era. Where friendships are important, your word in your bond, and life should be slower and enjoyed. So when we made the decision to open a winery we wanted a wine that captured that part of us. We also both love the cars of the 40's and 50's and what the pin-ups represented. Especially the artwork of Gil Elvgren. Where the girls we flirty, fun, confident, and sexy. What we love about that era, at least in what is preserved of it, is that women can be confident, in control, sexy, vivacious, and fun...without being naked, or next to naked which seems to be the case of style these days. Don't get me wrong there is always a sexy aspect to naked or lots of skin. But there is something about being sexy, when you can't use only exposed skin as your primary tool. When it has to come from attitude, style, grace, or a simple flash of the eyes. This was always so well captured in the pin-up that we had to preserve that with out wines.

I am here because we love what the pin-up represents, and we are here with ourselves and our wines to find people who share our passion for pin-ups and wine, and maybe we can find our next label models in the process. Or just a fun group of friends.

So that is why I am here. It goes beyond being here as a vendor to this lifestyle, with our wines, or my wife's photography. We are here to have fun, meet people, and in that process hopefully build a better following for our wines, and our photography. And give people a venue in which to be a pin-up model.
