Update on my son.

We finally got to bring Brixton home on Wednesday the 17th. We were suppose to bring him home on the the 15th but had another blood sugar set back. The endocrinologist ordered several more tests and thankfully they all came back normal. He feels that Brixtons liver is just a bit immature due to being early and isnt able to control the sugar. We have to feed him every 2 hours and check his blood suage here at home every 4 hours. So far he is doing great! He has been maintaining good levels and eating like a champ. We had our first dr visit with the pediatrician Friday and hes already grown an inch and up to 7 pounds now! We have our next visit with the endocrinologist this week and hopefully can stop checking his blood sugar. It just breaks my heart to poke his foot.
We are super tired due to feeding every 2 hours but I couldn't be happier to have my little man home at last! Its been such a stressful few weeks but things are looking up. I've never been in so much love with anything or anyone as I am with him. Its such an amazing thing.
