The tragedy is getting worse...

Hi everybody, thanks for reading my article... Writing what is happening, helps me to block me out from this terrible event.

Now, things are getting worse. There are some places in which basic services are not available, they have no food nor water, so the situation is very complicated right now. People have started looting the markets and different stores in order to get some milk, rice, water and diappers. Some delinquents and unscrupulous people have took advantage of this situation and have robbed markets, drugstores and gas stations.

The President has stablished a "constitutional exception state" so the military forces have gone out to the streets to keep order a safety. People must remain at home (or their properties) since 9 pm until 6 am.. We haven't seen that situation since General Pinochet was head of state.

School year was supposed to begin tomorrow, but classes have been postponed by the Ministry of Education. I'm a teacher, so I'm going to school anyway tomorrow, to see how's the school going.

The number of deseased has risen to up to 700 and there's a lot of people missing and many others are worried about their relatives and friends, because communication is very difficult to stablish.

Aftershocks have been happening consistently during the day and you can see some inhabitants with tents on the streets, afraid to enter their houses. I went around looking for bread and I went to check how were the near neighbourhoods and I felt so glad that my house and flat are fine... but then I felt very selfish.

I don't know how to feel about all this.
