I miss New Orleans soooooo much it's been 10 years since I lived out there but once that place is in your blood you can't escape it. I wish i could have been there especially for election night. After getting home from the Polls, I just sat in my livingroom and watched from my couch to see that the winner was Obama. I sat there crying with a huge lump in my throat everytime I saw Rev. Jessie Jackson crying I would start up again. This was the first time in years that I was proud to be an American and to be apart of something so great and I'm sure the emotions of the night were felt even stronger in the south.
