No pinup for me?

Ive been thinking aboyt getting involved in the pinup lifestyle, a bit more than I already am, as a model. I just asked my husband what he would think of me being a pinup model, If he would like it or not. he said he wouldnt hear of it, he didnt want others to look at pictures of me and "thinking sexy", (his words). I guess he has the wrong picture of pinup modeling, I mean its not like Im doing porn, and he should rather be proud, right? i know I would be. Have any of you had similar problems, and what should I do about it, I mean if its my dream, he should support it. Or should I sneak away and dont tell him about it?

i know a lot of girls who have this issue...my husband gets a little jealous, but I've found that it only makes him hotter for me since now so many guys come up to him and comment on how good I look. Besides, there's a difference in getting photos taken and posting them. Maybe get them done as a gift for him? Then see where it goes...

I've come across that problem myself. Thing is most guys I know of when you mention pinup modeling immediately think of something along the lines of liquor store porn, at least thats the truth as I've come to know it. The fact that he said what he said shows at least there is a chance for you both to come to an agreement. Maybe you could bring it up again let him know how much it means to you for you to do this, offer him to come with you to have a part in it. Offer him a chance to see what it is exactly that you want to look like that it wont be trashy or cheap, if he agrees offer him a chance to help u choose the photographer, your looks/styles, poses. Usually if someone who is unsure and/or a lil unsecure about an idea gets more information on it they arent so resistant. This is your husband ask for his support. Hopefully he will come around but if not I wouldnt suggest sneaking away just leave it for a little later on down the road. . . .thats my 2 cents on the subject hope it helped even just a little bit.
