When I was being taught about WW1 in history class when I was in high school, I used to gaze into my text books admiring the pictures of women in there Military uniforms. 13,000 women were drafted into WW1 and I admire them for kicking major butt in incredible fashion. As nurses, pilots, and even in combat these women had impeccable style. The fetish and Steam-punk movement still imitate the style of women in the war. I wish women in the war today were still supplied with those amazing uniforms from the 1900s and the 1940s. Here are some images I am heavily inspired by, and below them are images of how I have incorporated this into my own style.
