It's New Year's Eve

Happy New Year, everyone!
I hope that you all are safe and have a great time.

Me?
I am enjoying a quiet evening in the casa with my tiny chihuahua curled up next to me. I am watching the Stars / Devils game (6:00 left in the 3rd) and have been sewing a lovely black nightie.

I like the vintage chiffon nighties worn by the women Elvgren painted - so, I make them.

Tonight's project is knee length with black chiffon and a black lace bodice - empire waist. Lovely. It's nearly finished.

My next one will be pink - with ruffles. Lots of ruffles.

The chiffon is very sheer and they are all very delicate - but lovely.

I like making them.

I am staying in away from the crazies who brave this night.
My S.O. is working tonight (the game that I am watching) and will be by once he finishes (now 5:00 left in the game).

Then we will toast in the new year together.

That will be nice. I'm looking forward to that.
