It's getting exciting!

Today I got the amazing news that I have been chosen to work at 'Vintage @ Goodwood' this summer! Hopefully I will get a good task for the weekend involving lots of pretty dresses, but then I might get lumbered with collecting tickets at the gate! Oh well, it's all going to be good anyway!

Let me give you a little more information about the event! Held on the grand Goodwood Estate, home to the famous Goodwood Motor Track which annually holds the 'Festival of Speed' and 'Goodwood Revival' (my eprsonal favourite event of the year), 'Vintage @ Goodwood' is going to be the festival to be at for all the vintage buffs! With displays varying from the 1940's to the 1980's it will cover all genres, with lots of fashion, live music and good old fun! Tickets are available just for the day or for the whole weekend - there are accomodation facilities on site, including a vintage caravan park for all owners of caravans from days gone by. There is going to be so much to do I can't possibly write it all here so I'll just link you up...

In other circumstances in my life, I have had my first photoshoot (photos are up on here) and I have four more booked! Two are with my good friend Hollie Calton (also going to Vintage @ Goodwood) with the themes of 'soft lace' and another more burlesque themed! Tres excited! I'm also doing a shoot for a lingerie company local to me, and another shoot which is a bit more goresque called 'Destroyed Beauty'. All of this is very exciting for me and I hope there is more to come!

I'm so jealous of you going to Goodwood! I'm planning to do some serious saving so that I can go next year and stay in a luxury tent with a butler.

Wow, this sounds kinda cool. Wish I'd manage to get to Goodwood - but I try and plan it for next year. Enjoy your shoots. :-)
