A little bit about me...I am southern belle originally from Atlanta, Georgia. I moved to Los Angeles to work as an animator for film. My love for everything retro, pinup and glamorous was sparked by all the history in Hollywood. I began to make these floral barrettes to wear like the Hollywood Starlets of the 1940's and 50's did. Soon, women were stopping me on the street, in restaurants, in clubs asking where they can get one. Men would smile as I walked by or yell to me in traffic how "the flower is a nice touch!"

So, I decided to offer the designs at http://www.jonesiecake.com. You don't have to wear a floral clip everyday like me, but it sure makes people smile when you do! Everything on this site is one-of-a-kind and hand made to order. I scour the Los Angles Flower District for the most interesting and high quality silk flowers to make these one of a kind beauties.
