Before there were The Pussycat Dolls or local burlesque groups I did a play about burlesque BURLY-Q! that ran for 44 weeks here in Chicago.
It's the last days of burlesque, and we are making it into a low budget indie.
In the show, it's a day at a club, with various people coming in to audition, some as magicians, comedians, some as burlesque dancers..
Right now I'm in the 11th week of a show, THE BRIDES OF GHOST HUNTER RICHARD CROWE at a punk rock bar,
http://ghosthunter.blogdrive.com Which re-opens the second week of January as a Al Capone edition, and have another play opening at The Spot - a musical version of a Ed Wood script.
Interested in auditioning for the film, and/or being added to a blog on the making of it - just contact me.
