I'm always broke. I have never had a bunch of money. With that came the knowledge on how to make things last. How to strech what I did have. I use my nana, granny, & great-aunts jewlry/clothes which is good because it's true vintage. I go to the thrift stores, yard sales, antique shops. I found a great pair of panty hose at the dollar store that were the right shade for me. I wanted them to have a back seem. So I put them on then drew lines on with a sharpie. It may sound stupid, but I can't afford the real things right now. My mom makes some of my outfits, & I use halloween costumes as everyday clothes, the day after Halloween is when I buy those. Sometimes it's a matter of taking something & using some house hold items to make it work. I make sure I am properly covered, & I don't look that strange. My boyfriend let me alter one of his old Marine uniforms. My mom has also made corsets for me. She makes things that usually cost twice as much to buy as it does for her to make it. So I am broke. I can't afford to spend much $ right now. When I can I will buy it from others, they need to make a living too. I have a special jar for tattoo's & piercing's so I can save for those. I have also told people that instead of things I would like tattoo's/piercing's. I feel naked only having the few that I do have. I still donate things/money when I can. I have also given someone the last bit of change I had. Soon after I found a $5 bill in my hoodie pocket. I have thought about just having lines tattoo'd on my legs to look like back seems. My aunt had to use foundation & eye liner to make it look like she had hose on. Until I get money to spend, I'll stick to my things no matter how cheap.
