I Love Christmas!

I think ALL day I've been making Christmas treats! I'm thinking of sending them out to family and friends. Today I made a citrus almond cake, sugar cookies, and ginger snaps. I love baking, I don't know what it is about it but it's so calming and fun. Even if you do burn the bottom of the cake! I don't see how my grandmother always gets mad when she's making tacos. The shell splits open a little bit sometimes and she starts yelling at it! I kind of want to learn how to make tacos one day, that would be really fun.

Earlier today I sat at home writing stories, because another one of my favorite things to do is write stories. That's one of the many things that me and Mel have in common. We write stories and poems and read them to each other. It's amazing! She's such a good writer! I remember being in Middle school in god knows what grade and all I wanted was someone to read my stories and understand them, as well as someone who can write good stories themselves. And I'm so happy I found Mel! I love reading her stories!

I've had such an at home day. I finally opened my window to let in some fresh air. I haven't opened my window in moths, and I actually think it's going to rain! Or at least I hope it will...
I wonder what Christmas is going to be like this year, speaking of rain. Last year we went up to a town called Murphys and we thought it would just rain because a storm was coming in and it's not supposed to snow at that altitude, but it actually did! It was my cousin's first white Christmas she said! Whenever we go up there we don't expect it to snow but it does. It's amazing.

Time to go! The timer for the cookies is going to go off soon!
