Help me chose my first hotrod....

I am looking to buy a winter car that I can drive now and fix up during the summer. (Now when I say fix up I mean Garrett will do the fixin' :) But I am learning how to help). I did change my own brakes this summer.
Ok so here go the choices: Any input you guys might have may help so give it to me!! Thanks!
1. 1951 Chevy Deluxe (Black, 4dr, lowered)
2. 1956 Plymouth Belvedere (Pink and white, 4 dr)

Ok...I went to look at the '56 yesterday and I really like it. It'll need front seats and some repair but mechanically sound...and it's PINK!!! But......
I have found a couple new choices that I need to look at before making a decision. There is a 2dr. Rambler black with hotrod flames and also another 56 plymouth that might be more reliable mechanically. Any suggestions??

The '56 Plymouth is still there, I'm going to go look it over today!!! She's a big girl but with a little love she'll kick some ass!!

Thanks! We keep pretty close tabs on the deals around here but it's nice to have eyes all over. I'm calling on the Belv. today...cross your fingers it hasn't sold already!
