Hello Pinup World!

I've always tried to live my life by the James Dean quote, "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today." But I have a confession, when it comes to pinup, I've been doing a whole lot of dreaming and not enough living. So here I am, trying to live. 

I come from a musical theatre background and I love classic films so from very early on I have been enamored by the style and glamour of people like Marilyn Monroe, Josephine Baker, Grace Kelly, Dorothy Dandrige, and the like. I've always dreamt of being in front of the camera feeling sexy and fabulous but I've never known how to get started or if I was even good enough for anyone to want to photograph me. When I found this website, I decided that at very least I could sign up, make friends, and see if I belong here. 

More than anything, I am here to meet new people, have fun, and find out what the pinup lifestyle is all about. I'm not the type of person to pretend I'm someone or something that I'm not... I've never been to a car show (though I do love classic cars), and I kinda suck at swing dancing (but I REALLY love it and want to get better). I don't know if these are things that are required to be considered a part of this community, but I'd gladly try them out to see if I like them. New experiences are my favorite part of life. And maybe pinup life isn't for me. But I'm here to see if it is. I just want to make sure I leave this Earth with as few regrets as possible. And at the end of it all, hopefully "never tried my hand at becoming a pinup model" won't be one of them.
