cant remember the last time i was this busy!

Its been NUTS! really it has.
Ever since coming back from Vegas for my birthday its been non stop busy busy busy running around and training for work for me!
The day after i got back I had my orientation for the Corvette Diner and Gamers Garage, then the following two weeks, ive been in training from about 3-8 every day, monday thru friday, not to mention my food handlers class on the next saturday i was back.
Its been RAD getting to know the rest of the crew im going to be working with and at first the general policies and standards for work...
the only downside was that the dining area of the restaurant wasnt complete...so we couldnt go in there and learn on anything until thursday of this week. Now this wouldnt be so bad, except that we have 3 charity event starting on monday, weather we (or the restaurant or kitchen) is ready or not.
then we open on the 20th. A saturday. we're insane! haha

We FINALLY got our "costumes" yesterday, and WOW...its gonna be interesting. (i'll have pictures up soon lol).
I have two positions, technically. I am a hostess and a soda jerk (meaning i make the specialty sodas, malt shakes and some deserts). my hostess getup, is kinda cute: black button up shirt with collar that tucks into a HUGE pink skirt with black polka dots on it, under which we wear a pink petticoat. we have a cincer belt as well, and we wear white bobby socks and MJ's or saddle shoes. we are REQUIRED to wear hair flair, as they call it (scarfs, flowers, headbands, bandannas, etc
The soda jerk, is simple. white button up with collar tuked into black pants and black shoes, and an apron...and a black bow tie :D LOL.

so im kinda excited.
and im hoping that ya'll will come to see me!

oh goodness you're gonna get dirty! (as a soda jerk) ;) i started as a host and left after servin for a while. can't wait to visit the new location!
