Bloody Betty is in love. Is it her new man? Nope. Is it her new hat? Nope (though it IS pretty sweet). No, our little gore-lesque dancer is enraptured with the city of Milwaukee and it's people. Although the midwest has been good to her so far this city truly captured her heart, which takes some doing; I've seen the box she keeps it in.

We've so far been playing this game on the road up until now called "I Need That Shirt". Not to be confused with YouTube's Kelly here. All the shirts that Betty has collected have sported sharks to some degree on them. Obsessed with sharks and all their merchandise, we've decided that as obsessed as I am with owls and raccoons, so is she with large fish with many teeth and nasty dispositions. So whenever we've had the strange luck of seeing someone in a bar with a shark shirt, I've watched her masterfully use her wit and guile to walk out with her prizes. So far she's up to four.

The other night at Frank's Power Plant in Milwaukee, we had the Dead Man's Carnival open the show with a little daring-do, followed by a band called Gnome Skull. They even had their own backup dancer whom has a future in boylesque. He even had sock suspenders and for that he gets bonus points in my mind. Tim, from Gnome Skull instantly befriended us all (liquor is always a good way to befriend us) and despite the overpowering cigarette smoke and the over capacity of the club, most of the bar moved onto our promoter, Brad's house. It was there that Betty and BJB defended our title as reigning strip-foosball champions. The night wound down with homemade moonshine which I was able to side-step, JT woke up with a mohawk, and the rest of us woke up smelling of an ashtray.

Our show last night in Neenah found Betty with yet ANOTHER t-shirt after the show at Cranky Pat's. Because we need to drive through Milwaukee again, she's pretty stoked, so if you see a green-haired girl with a giant grin on her face, you'll know you've just seen Milwaukee's new queen. I'd suggest bowing down, or if you prefer a tithe of a shark t-shirt.

... and we WILL be accepting donations of shark shirts throughout the rest of the tour, in case anybody is curious...
