Halloween Make-Up

It`s that time of year again BOILS & GHOULS!!! Halloween is fast approaching!!! Do you have your costume & make-up ready? I've been busting my butt for the last month to get mine together and I'm so close to being finished!!! YAY!!

I'm letting my inner nerd run free this year and I've made (from scratch!) a costume for The Huntress (from Justice League)



What's everyone else going to be?

I always end up going as a zombie something or other, so it'll be weird to be living this halloween!
I've got some awesome zombie tips for anyone that needs them, so let me know if you're planning on being the walking dead for a night!!

I've got tons of trick up my sleeve for other make-up ideas too, so let me know what you're gonna be and I'll see if I can help you out!!!

For sure! That part is ALMOST as much fun as the real thing! AND a great photo op!
The cheap Halloween make-up usually works pretty well for zombies, so give that a shot if you're having trouble finding colors!

haha ok thats awesome. I have to do that now lol. Thanks for the tips! I can already tell I'm going to have plenty of fun with this =D
I'll have to find more colors to work with, and try it out at least once before halloween actually gets here so I won't have to scramble to get it perfect that night lol.

Zombies are ALWAYS a great costume! They've saved my procrastinating butt so many times when I've been at a loss for a costume!

Zombie 101:
-First, decide on a theme for your zombie. Are you going to be a sexy zombie? A mean zombie? Basically ANYTHING can be zombi-fied! Some of my favorites have been zombie school girl, zombie pin-up, zombie burlesque dancer, zombie cowgirl, zombie french maid, etc. Or you can go as your favorite celeb, in zombie form!

Once you decide on a costume, rip/tear it up a little bit, smear on some fake blood & dirt and get onto the make up!

-I think the BIGGEST zombie mistake is going to white/grey with the make-up. I like to use a pale, but still skin tone base and the contour the hell out of it with browns and yellows. Eyeshadows work GREAT for this!!
-You can use black eyeliner pencil under fake blood to make it look like cuts
-Mix it up with some light & dark green to give that rotting effect
-White&yellow make things look p****
-If you're feeling really daring, go to a costume shop and get "horror flesh". It's this weird waxy stuff that looks like skin falling off!
-Drip some fake blood around your mouth, so it looks like you've been feeding

For my zombies, I like to keep it looking hot, so I'll do my make-up all pretty first, and then do the zombi-fication!

Sadly I have yet to really figure out what I'm going to be! lol.
A zombie would be awesome. Never gone as one yet. Mind sharing zombie makeup tricks?! That would be awesome!
