Hello everyone! I am super-excited to have found this community and I'd like to thank you all again for the wonderful welcome I have received.

I'm just getting started as a model (seriously... is there a level below beginner? Hahah because that's me!) and I have my first shoot scheduled next week... it's not even that big of a deal compared to what some of you other gals are doing already, I'm sure, but hey, it's a start!

I'll be modeling some clothes for a lovely gal who runs her own local business selling wonderfully cute/classic/retro/indie-style clothing that she makes by hand! I'm very excited to get a chance to work with her by modeling some clothing and helping to spread the word about her store. I'm also a tad nervous though, since this will be my first time in front of the camera when there's a professional photographer doing his thing behind it. This time around it's only a catalogue shoot to get some more shots of her merchandise onto her website for the fall/winter season. It'll be good to get a chance to warm-up to each other, which is great since we're planning on doing something a little sexier the second time around. I would absolutely love to be a pin-up lingerie model... *sigh* one day! But I'm not going to get too ahead of myself here. One step at a time! =)

So yeah I think that's all for now! I'm unbelievably excited and I will let you all know how it goes in my next entry. I'll try and get my hands on some shots to post on my profile so you can see for yourselves just how awesome her clothing is =D
