Fascinators - does anyone know how to make any like these??...

I've been diggin the feather fascinators that Kenley Collins has been wearing on Project Runway. I'd like to try to make some for myself just for a night out or whatever and maybe even make some for my bridesmaids (but not all be wearing the same style) . Does anyone have any experience with making these, or have any tips?? I'll prolly end up buying them anyways. I'd like to know anyways - so help please :D Any tips on best types materials to use and best places to get those materials - or any help will be appreciated. Thanks
