I'm so sick of this whole drama thing with my friends. Were ages 21-35yrs old. Instead of actually talking to one another about all this tension.everyone is texting or talking behind one another backs. Basically everyone has "teamed up" in mini groups within one group.I'm so sick of it. I finally found out what gossip my friends were saying about me. They were complaining to one another that im not fun anymore, since i stay in with my hubby and mention my daughter online... Well im 24, and a mom, i partyed a lot when i was 21yrs old and i dont feel a need for it anymore. sure dont get me wrong i love to go out to a bar or concert once in awhile. but im not gonna plan my paycheck or my saturday night around it. theres a local goth club that we used to go too. i havent been there in month finslly whent a week ago and everyone acted like i was a b**** for not going every single weekend. i really think i need new friends..

I think this somewhat common when your one of the first ones to settle down and have kids in your group friends. It certainly happened to me and I have talked with a lot of young Mama's who feel the same way. I guess they just don't understand what it is like to have a family and have that be your primary focus. It's frustrating.
Actually, a few of my friends are just now getting married and pregnant and I am secretly thinking "Finally! They'll understand!" LOL
Just keep doing what you think is important doll! Maybe you do need some new "Mommy Friends" and maybe some of the others will come around.
