A new year. Another chance. Time to begin anew, to hunker down and strive for the dreams you've pondered on for so long.

2010 ushers in the future. Our futures. Let's find out where it takes us. Or better yet, let's take it where we want to go.

Lovin the cooler weather...

Loving this cooler weather we are having here in Athens. The leaves are starting to show some real color now, the air is brisk at night and I can leave the windows open at night and enjoy the chill. I find myself sitting outside a lot at night, staring into the clear black sky, filled with stars and a sliver of a crescent moon. It is quiet where I live, save for the rustling of the animals in the woods behind the house or the occasional pack of coyotes yelping to each other.

a halloween spectacle...

October is probably my favorite month. The air is cooler and crisp, and somehow even smells a little fresher. The sky takes on the particularly vibrant shade of cyan, and the sun shines golden. October brings the Harvest Moon, probably the prettiest full moon of the year.



Then comes Halloween in Athens.

vegas is in my blood

ever since i went to vegas for work in sept 2008, i've not been able to get it out of my mind. I love the desert, the lights, the glamour, the excitement...and I love the vintage vegas style. I've studied the history of the area and collected a bunch of vintage photos. Vegas' past glitz and style has mesmerized me...

I love vegas

my sister and I just got back from vegas. we went out there to celebrate our birthdays. we stayed at the luxor on the south strip. we played a little, lost a little, won a little, drank a little, shopped a little.



we rode the manhanttan express roller coaster at newyork newyork. it was scary fun. we went to freemont street and gambled in one of the old casinos. I think I like that area better than the strip. I've taken to collecting photos of vintage vegas now, have several posted on… Continue
