ANYONE IN CHICAGO AREA TONIGHT!!!

There is a grrreeaatt!! party going down in the suburbs tonight.. i know its like SUPER competitive with it being Friday.. but if you dont have anything to do.. or you get bored at your current party spot.. look at my events listing.. Halloween Costume: TADA!!

I finished! I was sick the past 3 days, and stayed home from work.. and yesterday felt well enough to get out of bed and sew my fingers off! I finally finished my costume.. t turned out EXACTLY as I hoped!!

I haven't been able to take pictures of it ON myself.. those will come after halloween.. for now, though, heres a few pics of it on my dressform..

“It's loud, it's cheap, it's gaudy..." PART 2

Last night i worked for 6 hours straight on my corset.. with AMAZING results.. I am so excited for this costume to come together.. I took only 2 pictures.. one of the first layer and the second of the 'scales' sewn on.. I would love some feedback.. but keep in mind, it isn't finished.. I just wanted to post progress picks.. i still have to do the edges, the lacing, the eyelets, the details.. etc... so you're looking at the base of my creature.

I am making my Halloween Costume tonight!! I had to go through 4 fabric stores before I found the PERFECT material.. A dark green alligator scaled PVC coated polyester.. sounds gross I know.. but Oh when it hits my sewing machine, it will be MAGIC! I want to be able to post pics as soon as I m finished!! I have to do a trial run of the costume and makeup before the big party.. see my events... I can't help it, Halloween is my most favorite holiday! I just need to find some olive green… Continue

~Woot~

This network/forum is really really cool.. I am excited to get home from my boring 9-5 job (well in my case it's 6-2) and actually do something I love, and make a whole mess of stuff for after Halloween!! I am inspired to say the least.
