Born from Cuban, Russian and Puerto Rican decent-Tanya Valiente has gone were no "chiqitica" has gone before. Born and raised in Miami, she has broken the rules of what a typical model should look like while embracing the idea that true beauty comes from within.

In 2002 she shot her first pin up shoot, arranging the entire shoot all by her little self. Tanya had always been interested in things of the past, often rummaging through her grandmothers closet of vintage goodies and watching old black and white flicks with her grandfather. Her look is timeless, and she was very well aware of it. Tanya Valiente became one of the first modern pin ups of South Florida, starting a trend of sorts..

In 2005 her career as a model took off while still doing retro pin up, her styles ranged from experimental fashion to Asian inspired shoots. She braced the covers of foreign publications and books, magazine spreads, won tittles, laid down some explicit vocals and appeared twice in a Miami based reality TV show. Her work has inspired millions from artists to other aspiring models.

"I'd like to consider myself the unsung alternative model, or whatever you want to label my type of modeling because its defiantly not mainstream. Best way I can describe it, is that its just totally me- raw, unfiltered, oh so unique me! There are plenty of fakes in the world or people who try to act like something that they aren't but not everyone is comfortable in their own skin, and that is what being attractive and sexy is all about."
