- The ORIGINAL Graveyard Girls began in summer 2002 as an experimental photo concept by myself in my home town of Spartanburg SC, all 100% based on a series of images I shot about a year earlier as a album cover concept for a music CD release.
By 2005 it had evolved from the status of a hobby, to something most people believed to be an independent modeling organization and publication, complete with it’s own website via the graveyardgirls.net domain.
Since that time it has become one of the most copied concepts in the alternative modeling world, with some other publications going as far to even try using the same name.
Make no mistake. We are the original.
In 2009, the dream finally became a reality and Graveyard Girls became STIFF MAGAZINE, an alternative culture & entertainment publication, available both in print and digital formats. Issue #1 made it's debut in January of 2010.
For all that are confused, we are not adult content, cartoons, a clothing line, or a modeling agency. We are just a concept that happens to now be a magazine publication.

STIFF Magazine strives to bring the very best in alternative culture, modeling & entertainment. Each issue features our "Graveyard Girls" models, our "Tech From The Crypt" gadget/technology reviews, new release, indie & Retro Horror movie reviews, Music reviews, "Graveyard Gaming" Video Game reviews, literary features, our "Ask Nurse Kat" advice column and much much more available quarterly in both print & digital format.
