- I am a Jersey girl whose musical taste is highly influenced by eighties pop music and 90’s boy bands. My love for Korean pop music grew out of an interest in Asian culture and hours of streaming Korean dramas. My favorite K-pop groups include Infinite, 2NE1, Epik High, SHINee, Exo-K, and Big Bang. I am devoted Big Bang VIP and a member of the leadership team for the fan group USA VIPS.
Beyond USA VIPS, I am an organizer for Annyeong Korea, a New York City based Korean culture meet up. In addition to my interest in Korean pop culture, I am a vintage style aficionado and adventurous foodie.
Professionally, I have spent ten years in the field of support and education of individuals with disabilities. Because of this background, I have a deep respect for charity and humanitarian efforts. I had the honor of working with other members of the United States K-pop fan community to organize charity events for individuals affected by major tragedies in the tri-state (NY, NJ, CT) area.
Looking forward, one of my goals this year was inspired by a chance to provide personal fitness training for a young woman with autism. I am now in the process of becoming a certified personal trainer. I would love to teach fitness to all individuals, no matter their experience or limitations, and to use K-pop and other dance music to charge up my routines.
