I am Italian but I am doing a PhD in Latin abroad. I am nerd, I love my Roman Empire and my Early Saints. But I grew up with my grandparents:2 soldiers of WW2 and 2 beauties of the '40's: no wonder I love those years, it's not only in the aesthetics. They make me think of my granparents, and god knows how much I love them!!
I love tattoos, latin, thrillers, trash tv, and horror movies from the 1980's.
I love painting and drawing ( my granpa's brother was a painter) but I don't have as much time as I'd love to dedicate to it.
I love cats, and anything that has to do with them; I love knitting, crocheting and cooking, but I am not a passive housewife. MOre the type who would wait for her man to come back home in stockings, holding a cherry pie in her hands. Said cherry pie would have been baked a bit in a rush after having though Latin to a bunch of slightly bored 3rd year university student in an indefinite University in the world.
Also, the nylons may end up in the bin before my man arrives...because one of my cats may decide to climb up my leg..
But no worries...I have a good collection: I told you..it's almost like a grew up in '40's! ;)
