- I originally studied fine art and design at Parson's and worked for 15 years doing custom clothing and home decor. Then about 13 years ago I started to explore my other love-cooking-as-career. I attended CSCA, and worked in every area of the industry in Los Angeles from catering for the Tournament of Roses, to Pastry Chef at Smashbox Studiod-prior to my current position as culinary instructor. Besides teaching classes on such subjects as Diner Desserts, and classic fare from such Landmark restaurants as the Dresden and Dal Rae, I cater, make wedding cakes and offer private cooking parties and team building events all with a pinup/rockabilly flare.
