It started as a college photo assignment in Colorado about taking portraits with zero negative space. I was hooked on capturing the essence of people ever since. The body of work fluctuates as I'm consistently developing new things while feeling the outer branches of formal art photography. Gerry Riggs, the former director of The Gallery of Contemporary Art in Colorado Springs, once told me that the edge is where the fruit is. Although I find most of my fruit on the ground, I'm still trying to find that perfect place.
