- I am very new to the world of pin-up. I have a very strong desire to learn to do some pin-up modeling and also would like to venture into the world of burlesque. I am doing it for a variety of reasons; it looks fun, I love the aesthetic and I believe it is a venue for reclaiming my confidence and sensuality. I would love the opportunity to network and see what it's all about.

I've been away for a bit due to some medical issues, but I've decided that it is high time to to move forward fearlessly and put myself out there. I have a lot of work to do; obtain some period (or replica garments), work on obtaining some photos and honestly just getting comfortable in my own skin!
I don't quite know where/how to start. I'm going to spend some time surfing the site; it seems to be a great resource. I've been following it on twitter for some time and have quite enjoyed the pics of the day!
At any rate, thank you all again and I sincerely hope to be a more productive member soon!
