- I'm a little bit retro, turning 50 this year and finding my style as each decade comes and goes. The older I get, the more fun I find I'm having. A nurse, photographer, strong woman, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter....what doesn't make me happy? As a plus size woman I've struggled with weight since I was a teenager. Now I'm starting to feel comfortable as I've come into a new style. I'tls like a lightbulb went off, and I'm finally figuring out who i am.
