- Since I was a wee one I have adored the pin-up style. I'm not sure how I got exposed ot it because neither of my parents were into it or had pictures around. I just remember seeing a picture in a friends house and was in awe and wanted to be that girl. The hair, clothes, overall vibe was so intriguing to me. I have always wanted to embrace the look but was afraid of what others thought. Was I pretty enough to pull it off? Am I to "big boned"? Finally I'm at the point at my life where no s***'s are givin' in what others think I should look like. Ever since I gained my confidence and started giving in to my desire and letting my inner Bettie Page out, I have felt like who I was afraid of letting out. It feels awesome. I have been told that I pull it off well and it is a work in progress still( bought a few vintage clothing, retro underwear and shoes...need more) but I look forward in getting advice and help here to complete my transition into the beautiful world of retro glamor. Time to get my "Pin Up" on......
