I came up with this idea for Java's mag because it was the spring issue. I wanted something colorful and spring like. I always try to research when I have an idea to see if it already exists, I mean, sometimes its fun to re-create old pin-ups.... but I much prefer to offer something no one else has done before. It makes the images stand out ya know?
