Dear Becky,

Im writing you on this warm day to let you know that I am saddened to not have received a valentine from you this year. It is unfortunate that we cannot count on our Postal Service these days. I'm certain someone was just too busy with other matters and it was misplaced during the delivery process. Perhaps it fell off the carriage! I hope things are well, missing you dearly.
