Pin up Lifestyle Magazines

Hi guys, I was wondering what magazine's to do with the pin up/ rockabilly/ tattoo culture we might have in the UK, as I was wanting to get hold of some and have never seen any around, has anyone ever read/ had a subscription to any?? And what are your opinions of them??

I live in the US. But when I was in York back in June I picked up a copy of Burlesque Bible. It was a bit different than the Pin Up Magazines that I've bought here in the US. BB is really a magazine and it is of course geared to burlesque. The pin up magazines I've bought in the US are much more like large format paperback books. The US magazines are much more about the photos and less on content. But the quality is very high.

Hiya! Sorry to chip in late I've been rather absent from PL recently!

There is Burlesque Bible, Vintage Life, some parts of UK Rock N Roll are lifestyle lady articles, Tease and Cake is a new one but I haven't read it myself yet. I hear rumours of a new mag for 2013 but not sure if that's set in stone yet :)

Print wise, there isn't much. There are a few tattoo magazines such as Skin Deep, Total Tattoo and Bizarre, but I find that they're really male oriented now. There's a new magazine that's just started, focussing on women in the tattoo world that's pretty good, called Things and Ink - here is their blog:  http://www.th-ink.co.uk/tag/tattoo-magazine-for-women/

Retro Lovely Magazine but it has to be imported sadly :(

There is Vintage Life and The Chap if you're into the more vintage-y aspect of the lifestyle. Sadly the only rockabilly lifestyle magazine, Milkcow, that incorporated fashion, music, cars and living was discontinued last year as it got too much for the small band that was running it. Other than that, I'm not entirely sure if there is a lifestyle magazine other than those mentioned here, so I just rely on blogs :)
