Favourtie film from the 40's or 50's

Being a film school grad and work in TV.  I love films!!  The Film Noir films of the 40's and 50's are my favourtie genre!  So what is your favourite and why!

Double Indemity (1944) Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck. An insurance rep lets himself be talked into a murder/insurance fraud scheme that arouses an insurance investigator's suspicions.  It has it all! A femme fatal, fast talking, and a very cool match trick!

For me it's a toss up between funny face and some like it hot. I think some like it hot wins as I'm a bit of a tony Curtis fan and I love the story line.
