Ok, i'm here wadja wanna talk about?
Can you mail me some of those beavertail pastry thingies!?
i wouldn't say we're shy... we're just busy little (canadian) beavers bustin' our chops trying to beat the economy into submission and pay our taxes... or at least pay the morgage and feed the family. wishin' i had time for more chatting and socializing than i do but fact is more and more of my american customers are living out of their cars. where does that leave me? busting my chops to make more inventory and ship as fast as i can when the orders do come. in my opinion, americans are not helping the economy by shopping on black friday. so why do y'all call it black friday anyway? is it because you guys beat each other black and blue to race to the last flat screen tv deal? hee hee! just curious if you knew or had a theory of your own?

Cheers
Haha, now thats elaborate!

It's called black friday because its the one day of the year when most retail shops finally turn a profit, or go "in the black" financially. Obviously as a business owner you know being in the red is not where you want to be!

I'll be getting up in a few hours to go out and beat some a**** for a few HDs priced at a point where I don't feel like I just got bent over with lube.
It's called Black Friday and the stores hold insane sales to help their finances go from being in the red, to being in the black.

And I can maybe make that beaver tail thing happen Edson, I happen to make excellent pastries. Funny you mentioned baked goods, I'm about to give a new name a go, Ida Baker. I hope I'm clever enough to have come up with that myself, I should look into that first though.......
Thats killer!

I visited Ottawa once and had one, been craving since then. Love the new name!

Whaaa there's only one actually in Toronto I can think of off the top of my noodle. This is why I've been seekin' a shoppin' buddy, someone who wants to share excessive shipping costs from California.

There's also Pink Purr, from Montreal - http://www.pinkpurr.com/Welcome.html
And Pretty Things Boutique, in Halifax - http://www.shopprettythingsboutique.com

Oh, and Get Funky here in Kingston, if you have a love of Iron Fist shoes like I do - http://www.getfunky.ca/

Hope that helps, even if just a little.
Thanks lovely! It helps indeed Too bad we weren't in the same city, I would share with you. $40 a pop is getting hard to swallow, thank goodness for sales and coupons.

There are plenty of shops if you just know where to look. One place in particular would be Dollfactory by Damzels in the east end. They're one of my sponsors so I have to plug them first lol. Also Hells Belles on Queen West!
Love Hells Belles! Haven't been to Dollfactory, I'll check it out, thanks!
