I have naturally VERY curly hair. It's a curse from my father, I swear. EVERYONE on his side of the family has super crazy curls. My unfortunate brother has to shave his short to keep it tamed, lol.
So, I know there's a discussion here on PL floating around of ladies posting photos of themselves without any makeup on, but I can't help but wonder what others look like without applying something to their hair as well.
My hair is crazy to say the least. Just look at the before and after of my daily routine, lol.

I swear I didn't tease it, lol. I just let it air dry and then brushed it out, and POOF. It's amazing what a simple curling iron can achieve, though, eh?

I know I'm not the only one that has to force their hair into submission on an every day basis. Come tomorrow morning, after all you ladies have surely bathed and rinsed all product from your hair, I want photos! Just.. after you've gotten dressed, of course.

Wow that's quite a transformation..glad I'm not the only one with incredibly poofy hair. My hair's really thick, wavy, and frizzy..I hate it. I've actually shaved my head a few times and just kept the bangs (the Chelsea cut)..it was the only way I could deal with it. Of course hair stylists love my hair because they have to spend hours upon hours fixing it..not sure why they love that so much. Anyway for the summer I'm thinking of going really short again..it's too much hassle to iron it out every day. Props to you who can do that. : )
My hair used to be *much* longer. It used to be at least to the middle of my back. Now, THAT was a b**** to try and style every day. It took hours to fix, and there was no straightening it at all. I could iron soft curls as I do with it now, but that was about it. A few months ago, I said "screw it" and hacked my hair to its current length at about shoulder. It was my first hair cut outside of trimmings since the 4th grade, and I'm so glad I did it (myself, nonetheless). I loved my long hair, but it's so damn cute short. I didn't think I'd like it, but turns out that I do! =0]
I've found that with its current length, it's really not so much of a hassle to curl every single day. I have a set routine down, so it goes by quicker now than it did when I first started curling it on a daily basis. I'm going to make a video showing how I do my hair every day. I have so many friends with super curly hair that say it's too much work as well. I'm hoping to prove them wrong, lol.

Yeah, short hair can be very cute..I'm not sure why women have such a phobia to getting their hair cut short. Well, maybe once I see that how to video, I'll be inspired and less clueless to style my hair every day..lol. : P

I'll bite, will take a photo later hahaha.
I'll have to get some photos up. I'm still learning how to care for my hair; all my grown up life it's been sleek and slightly wavy. I had surgery a while back and a lot of it fell out. Now it's growing in lighter and super curly frizzy! ugh. No clue what to do with it.
I have super curly hair too. The thing about our type of hair is management and prevention of the frizz. Curls can be your friend.

So my hair rutine involves conditioning my hair every night. Shampoo takes out a lot moisture, curly hair tends to be a little dry.

When you condition comb it to take out the tangles. After rinsing I put on my turby twist to dry it. I never blow dry my hair or I look like a tarantula.

The next day I add oil sheen and spray some water on it. Don't brush curly hair when it's dry. It just makes a horrible mess.

I style it wet, you will get no where styling it dry.
The first attached pic is as natural as my hair will be anytime soon since I was relaxing it at the time.

The second is "tamed" with LOTS of mousse, lol.

And the reason why I said "was relaxing" is because last week I cut most of it off! This is me made up and a profile to see the shortness

Wow, that is a difference! I think you look cute either way though; your natural curls look very youthful and sweet.
Great Work! My hair does the samething if I let it air dry because curly hair is tough to maintain! But a Flat Iron, Curling Iron or Hot rollers always does the trick!
