Where to buy comfortable heels?!

I love heels! I really LOVE heels.

But I seem to be getting my shoes else somewhere "illegitimate" because that hurts like a b**** after while. :(

What are your favorite brand names/company/style heels do you gals purchase to grace those sexy legs of yours? What brand gives you the most comfort?

Most malls have a Walking Store or some other "comfy" shoe store. Even though they may not have heels in the window, go in and take a look. I got the cutest patent leather peep toe sling backs in one of those stores. Super cute, really comfy and I liked them so much I bought them in black, red and white.

Also, payless has a new line of comfy heels. You might wanna check those out.

An old favorite for comfort seems to be making some really cute retro styles. Clark's, a UK based company, makes well constructed shoes with a cute flair. Check out this one. But if you don't want to pay that price, check out ebay--I like these

Other than that, you do get what you pay for in most cases. All of my Ferragamo shoes are very comfortable, even though they don't have all that padding that is found in comfort shoes.

Another brand, Mootsie Tootsies, along with Life Stride seem to be on a retro kick lately. I have seen great deals on those comfort brands in TJMaxx, Marshall's and DSW.

i recently bought a pair of patent leather Sofft brand heels. THE BEST I have ever worn. The inside is soft leather and they feel like I'm walking on air.

I think the most comfortable heel that I've ever worn, was made by Seychelles. Whenever they teamed up with Smashbox Cosmetics, they came out with a line of heels called "Pretty in Peep Toes". My local Macy's actually hired me to do promotions for the release of the line, and gave me a free pair of some super adorable sling back peep toes. I can't find any photos online of the exact ones that I have, but I can post a photo later.
There's something about the way the actual heel is made, that makes them so comfortable. They're wide enough to beat the comfort of any stiletto, but not the least bit clunky looking, either.

literally, you get what you pay for. I only buy heels at Office or by Doc Martens.
Office for pretty shoes for going out ect. DM heels for everyday work ect.
The clarks ones are good too! they just dont quite suit my feet personally. I can't fault them tho!

The other thing is, I found all heels hurt me until on a night out I suffered through the pain. In effect I broke my feet into wearing heels. Years of heels pain, for that to be the "cure". Not suggesting you do that tho, I wouldnt recommend days of pain to anyone. I now understand how some women can wear heels all day.

I have to say that the "hidden" platform has gone a long way to making heels really comfortable to wear and walk in, but I have an easier time walking in heels than in flats. I really like Bordello shoes for really high sexy heels that are comfortable to wear for a shoot. As far as "every day" heels, I still like penthouse hidden platform heels. Jessica Simpson's are pretty comfy as well, as well as Iron Fist's.

Some of my favorite heels are the bordello line by Pleaser. I have only worn the 5 3/4" pairs but they are crazy comfortable, easy to walk in, affordable, and INSANELY gorgeous!!!
