Where does a girl go for some exposure?

Hey everyone!

I'm an aspiring pin up model and burlesque performer and would love to get some exposure. I'm having a bit of trouble finding how and where to do that though. 

Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to get into a contest, magazine submission, performance venues, etc?

The answer for this thread, http://www.pinuplifestyle.com/forum/topics/pin-up-model-looking-for..., is basically the same for yours. Look for casting calls, contact people who's work you like, talk to the photographers that take your pictures. Also, remember that you need to build your portfolio and reputation before you get noticed.

Have you looked into getting an account on Model Mayhem? I am sure there are hundreds of photographers in Houston that would love to do some TF work with you!
