Wedding Ideas

My beautiful fiance and I are planning a wedding for next year. We want to go with a 50's theme or Classic Hollywood.I'm lookin for some ideas or if anyone know of any websites,it would help out!!!

Some words of advice.

 

Step back.  She's probably been planning her wedding since the age of 5.  Even if she says she wants you to be involved,  Trust me, she doesn't.

 

All you've got to do is write the checks and show up to the wedding on time and sober.

Not all ladies are the same. I knew quite a few friends of mine that would have LOVED if their soon-to-be-husbands had chipped in even a LITTLE with the planning. So don't assume that all ladies are controlling bridezillas.

Thanks.Fact is I've been with my girl for 14 years and we have 2 kids.We've never talked about marriage(why fix what aint broke).Recently she was diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease,which is an auto immune kinda like Lupus but is terminal,so she wants to get married and I will do anything and everything I can to make it perfect for her.

I am currently working on my 50's themed wedding. All of the guests are in on it. We have asked everyone to dress in a 50's theme. Friends are bringing hot rods and parking them in special parking. Today i may the playlist of song's while everyone is waiting in the chapel. We are going with red white and black as our colors.

 

If you need ideas i could probably bounce a few off of you, today we are officially 60 days away!
