My mother just found some old photos of my grandmother and grandfather on their wedding day, as well as my great grandmother and great grandfather on their wedding day!
With a little help from modern technology, I will be able to scan these in and print my own copies to display at my wedding in June. Granted, I do have some time, but does anyone have ideas on where to find some affordable vintage frames in decent condition?

Any advice would be great!!

Hmmm...other than flea markets, garage sales, and thrift shops, you might be able to find some on www.etsy.com.  That is such a cute idea!

Brittany, I'm not sure where you're located or what timeframe you want to match the pics to.   You might want to check your local antique shows for frames and ask vendors if they've seen any of the type you're looking for.

If you're looking for 1930s-era stuff, you might want to search e-bay for "art deco" or "deco" frames.  I saw some in Asheville, NC and at the DC annual Art Deco antique show and they weren't cheap, but in this economy, vendors are willing to haggle.  For Deco style, you could also go with a very thin silver-tone frame.  There's probably a way to "age" the frame to look vintage, but I'd have to research that.

I have photos of my grandparents during their courtship and on their wedding day and I love those pics.  I need to scan them all, make copies, and frame my favorites.  People dressed so stylishly back then.  ;)
