I thought they were really neat. If they didn't have the bits of background stories and the scribbling on them, ya might not ever know they were police mug shots. Very cool photos indeed! :)

I know this may sound stupid but I find that peoples faces nowadays look so much different to back then, I think it must be because it was a harder life back then :-S

I think you're right. I would guess these guys are late 20's to mid 30's bit they look older. Things were tougher back then and factory work was rough.

I think it's pretty awesome how it looks as though they are posing for a portrait, not a mugshot!
