"We Are The New Vintage"
Hopefully I'm not starting a redundant discussion.
Awhile back I picked up a pair of vintage-y eyeglasses (see picture) at Savers for $2. I have a very weird bridge on my nose and usually glasses do not stay up on my face they slide down all day- these do stay up! But the lenses are not my perscription. I asked a few places about puting lenses in them but they were discouraging and seemed like they'd prefer I buy New frames from them. One place claimed the plastic would break from being old- the plastic isslightly flexible and in good condition.
Any advice on where or how to look for a place that will put new lenses in them? (I'm in Tucson, but I WILL go to Phoenix if I have to!)
Anyone else have vintage glasses/ wearn them with current perscription lenses? Do share photos! Old glasses are wonderful!
xoxo
