Tips/suggestions on becoming a pin-up model.

Hello everyone, i joined this site because i know there are a lot of wonderful models here who can maybe give me a few pointers in becoming a pin-up. I'm 17, but i'm determinded to make my dream come true.

I do not have the body for modeling, that's what keeps me a bit self-concious about my body. So, what tips would you gals have for me? Also, i don't know what what style fits me the best. I would like to add a bit of my own style, something dark and mysterious. Something like a metal-ish look. I'm a huge metal fan and i would love to show that in my work.

Check out this section of my website, it's all about getting started in Pin Up modeling. And this section is all about the scene (history, different looks, etc). Also, take some time and look through this forum, there are a ton of threads about how to go stared. 

As for adding your own style to the scene, that's exactly the attitude you want to have. The styles in the scene are pretty straightforward, but no one should copy someone else 100%. Taking what we all love and making it your own is an important part of finding yourself.
