THESE ARE SOME FOUNDATIONS THAT I LOVE...WHICH ONES ARE YOURS?

I LOVE A GOOD FOUNDATION THAT MAKES YOU LOOK ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS! HERES A LIST OF SOME THAT ARE MY ULTIMATE FAVORITES!

MAC STUDIO TECH-FULL COVERAGE CREAM THAT SETS TO A MATTE FINISH...GREAT FOR ALL SKIN TYPES
MAC HYPER REAL FOUNDATION-LIGHT TO MEDIUM COVERAGE-HAS A SHIMMERY, GLOWY FINISH LIKE A J-LO GLOW...(I USE THIS OFTEN!)ITS FOR OILY SKIN BUT I HAVE DRY SKIN N IT WORKS GREAT!
BESAME FOUNDATION-FULL COVERAGE (I WAS SURPRISED!)ITS ONLY 6 DOLARS ONLINE BESAMECOSMETICS.COM ITS A SMALL JAR THOUGH...BUT IF U DONT LIKE IT IT WAS ONLY 6 BUX.
DIOR SKIN-THAT STUFF IS SO THIN IN ITS CONSISTANCY I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE VERY SHEER, BUT IT HAD A MEDIUM TO FULL COVERAGE-SEMI MATTE FINISH...I LOVED IT...IT DIDNT LOOK HEAVY AT ALL.
ORIGINS-NEXT TO SKIN FOUNDATION-WORKS REALLY WELL...DOESNT SWEAT OFF..DEFINATELY A FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION....BUT AROUND THE EYE AREA AFTER A WHILE IT GETS A BIT CRACKED....SO I USE SUPER HEAVY CREAM AROUND THAT AREA TO PREVENT THAT FROM HAPPENING.

I've been using Mac Studio Fix...I love it.
I can never find a foundation I really love so I am looking forward to hearing everyones input!
XoXoX
I can't afford MAC, would love to have some MAC makeup though. So instead I use CoverGirl AquaSmooth foundation in ivory. It does a good job in covering. From medium to heavy coverage without looking cakey. And I dust a translucent loose powder over top to set.

Do you find that MAC tends to cause you to break out? I've heard this is fairly common.
I WORKED FOR MAC FOR TWO YEARS AND BEFORE THAT WORE MAC FOR TWO YEARS...WHEN I WORKED THERE MY FACE WAS COVERED IN THEIR COSMETICS FROM THEIR SKIN CARE LINE TO THEIR FOUNDATION TO THERE LASHES...I NEVER BROKE OUT NOR DID ANY OF THE GIRLS WHO WORKED THERE, HOWEVER MOST GIRLS THAT I SAW THAT CAME TO THE COUNTER NEVER CHANGED THEIR FOUNDATION PADS OR CLEANED THEIR BRUSHES...AND FOR THE MOST PART NEVER WASHED THEIR FACES AT NIGHT...AND THOSE WERE THE ONES THAT BROKE OUT. I ALWAYS TOLD ALL OF MY CUSTOMERS HOW TO PROPERLY USE THE COSMETICS AND HOW TO BE SANITARY SO THAT BACTERIA WASNT BUILDING UP INTO THE PRODUCT ITSELF....I THINK ILL BLOG ABOUT THAT ALSO...HEHE
I have to cleanse my face well. I do a mask once a week and that eliminates any build up in my pores.

I found that I spend less money using Mac than I did using brands from the pharmacy. The reason is, that with Mac, a little goes a long way. One bottle of Studio Fix lasts 5 months, while pharmacy will last one month to 6 weeks. So, I spend $25 on Mac every 5 months vs. $10 every month to 6 weeks. I ended up saving with Mac.

i cannot handle covergirl foundation. any of those brands always end up caking and showing! everytime i try to save money that way i end up using it once and throwing it out
To use internet slang: rofl. Seriously that was awesome.

I've never had too much problem with the AquaSmooth. The other kinds, yea, especially liquid foundations. I can't use any liquid foundations because they're typically way too sheer for me or feel really oily and heavy on my skin. And I have to specifically find something that is non-comedogenic (ugh I can't spell that word to save my life!) because my skin breaks out easy. Not to mention having pores the size of the grand canyon on my face. And I have skin that is very dry in some places and very oily in others.

you should check into which moisturizer you are using and try using a primer

i agree if the skin is too oily it needs something in between to adhere to the skin or so that the foundation doesnt "slip off" the best primer ive found is from smashbox. its called photo finish...works amazing! matte texture works great too from MAC but its always out of stock at most places...
