I've never had a sweet potato pie, but I love pumpkin pie. I make pretty good yams. And there's no exact recipe to it. Just open a can or two of yams into a casserole dish, sprinkle with brown sugar and raisins, top with mini marshmallows and bake in the oven til the marshmallows are golden brown to your liking. You might find some good pie recipes on google.com

I LOVE pumpkin pie, especially in the fall......but my hubby hates it. I've been dying for some but that would mean I'd have to make one all for myself and that's just not gonna happen.
