There is no brown in my skin it is porcelain white with some pink tones..I recently lost my job so funds are pretty limited...=( Can any of you beautiful ladies or fantastic makeup artists give me some suggestions...

Your best bet is to pop into a department or specialty store (Sephora, Ulta, etc) and try out the lightest shades each make up brand offers. Ask an associate within the store for take home samples. Associates are always super excited if you convince them you're willing to make a purchase for the right product. Take the samples home with you and try them out. You can probably find a low-cost option by going with the store brand (Sephora and Ulta both have GREAT products for decent prices). Don't go into a drug store or Walmart or anything of the like because you will miss out on both variety and quality. Once you find the right shade, you'll have additional options, like buying online direct from the manufacturer, or other sites (Etsy and Ebay offer make up at fantastic prices) in order to save money. Hope this helps!
Thanks Crystal.. That is great advice. Going to try to go down Saturday. I agree with the drugstore stuff. I am also big on cruel free products I do not support companys that test their prodouct on animals.. No way.. it will all come together. i just need to go and do it..=)
Oh girly do I feel your pain! Even the fair makeup is visable on my skin in most cases BUT I have found a few things: first I can not rave enough about Dr. Weil for Origins Plantidote Mega Mushroom Face Serum. It helps fight that pinkness and redness that can so easily come with us pale ladies. For winter months I use OFRA liquid foundation in White Porcelain. When I say it's white I mean it. Like school glue white in color. It's GREAT and can be found resonably priced online. Also a fan of Smashbox wet/dry foundation in petal. I only use it as a dry powder because as a wet it can be a torch dark on me but using a patting motion instead of a sweep helps detail that as a dry powder. And thirdly I love L'oreal true match (I am a 1) they come in warm cool and nutral so you can steer clear of that orangey mess that comes with alot of makeup said to be for pale women. As for concealor I again love L'oreal true match Naturals gentle mineral concealor with spf. (I use fair). And then also revlon aqua powder foundation. This is great because I tend to get dry skin too.

Thanks Lindsay. The Ofra looks awesome. I was looking on line at smashbox the other day and i have used loreal in the past and it is to dark. I have the revlon aqua mineral right now. It feels nice but has to much brown..  Im going to try to hit up sephora and mac this weekend and i am going to look more into Ofra.. I like they are cruelty free and plant based.

Thanks again!!!

OFRA is great stuff. Im not sure if they do samples but if you want to try a sample before buying let me know and I'll send you a bit of mine. It's great too because it's not cakey and theatre thick. The foundation struggle is a banchee but wonderful when you finally win it. I used the Ofra like on an albino actor before as well and it was flawless.
Awesome lindsey... I will see if i can get a sample from them if not i will let ya know...=)
the make up brand illamasqua do 2 shades of white in a few different types. one is slightly warmer than the other. i use the cream based one and i find it great, my sister uses the powder and finds it good too. hope that helps. http://www.illamasqua.com/

Mix these with a foundation of choice to achieve the tone you need.  :)

And Amphigory's foundations, which they offer sample sizes for testing shade match.  http://www.amphigory.com/foundation_perfect_finish.html
I know it's been awhile since you asked this, but I just joined the site and this post caught my eye.  Have you heard of a company called Faerie Organic? They're a small company in the US who make really high quality mineral makeup.  I switched to their products about two years ago (trying to clean all the petroleum products and other junk out of my makeup, for health reasons) and absolutely love them.  Their website is here: http://www.faerieorganic.com/  They have a porcelain foundation that is very light, and just added a white "adjuster" powder that can be mixed with any of the foundations to lighten them up a bit, if you need it (the foundation page is here: http://www.faerieorganic.com/catalog/c16_p1.html ).  They do have samples you can order as well.  All of my makeup these days is from them (except for my lipstick, which I get from another great organic brand), and I really couldn't be happier with their products, and their customer service.
