We've all had that moment.... that "I think I'll grow my bangs out" moment. And a month or so later we've all had the "WHY did I think this was a good idea" moment. When your bangs are at that length when you feel like you can't do ANYTHING with them. They are too long to wear down... but too short to sweep to the side.

So I figured, let's start a thread with ideas of "grow out" styles. That way, future generations of girls with this problem have a place to go!

Here's a few to start:

Short, swept and sprayed!

Tight little curl/roll

Looser curl/roll

Ugh.  I have such issues with my bangs.  I have a cowlick so I can't wear my bangs super-straight.  No Bettie Bangs for me.  :(  I usually end up side-sweeping them or rolling them like in the third picture.

I have a cowlick too and am growing my bangs out now. I did find Bettie clip on bangs and im going to order them. I googled it and found it on baronunlimited.com. Theyre about $40 and come in different colors. This is the perfect way to get those perfect Bettie bangs without the maintenance they require :)

Ooooohhh, I may have to check that out!  Thanks.

Imelda May bang roll!  I did that for a year while my bangs were growing out.  I also did a bumper bang.  :)

As far as clip-in bettie bangs...have ya'll tried going to a beauty supply and buying the clip in extensions and just cutting to the desired shape?  If you get blonde human hair you could even dye them.  Another suggestion I heard from a young lady was to buy weave hair, cut to the desired length and shape and then sew in toupee combs so they fit properly on your head.  Head shapes can differ so pre-made clip-ins could leave something to be desired as they may not fit on the head properly or slide out.

i have the baronunlimited clip in bettie bangs :] they work pretty well, unlike most clip in bangs they only have one clip so it fits pretty well to most heads even my dad wore it! the only issue i've found was it needs to be cut and styled badly it is all over the place when it first arrives.
