I thought he was saying there was something wrong with her, everyone has different views of what is or is not a flaw.

Beautiful, sure. But everyone has flaws. It's what you do with them that count. A good pin up, and a good model in general, knows how to work her flaws to her advantage.

Spend some time looking through the photos here on PL and you will see that there is every body shape you can imagine. Being a pin up isn't all about curves, it's mostly about attitude.

YES! It's more about posing, expressions, wardrobe/styling and confidence than "curves". I am also tiny (33 in bust, 24 waist, 36 hip and I'm only 4'11") and I find that it really doesn't matter in pinup or alt modeling. As long as you are well styled, well posed and dressed to compliment your figure, you'll do wonderfully! Just practice, do some reading about dressing your figure (I try to emphasize my bust and minimize my hips a little for a more "balanced" look), and study classic pinup art as well as modern pinups! Everyone is different and that's why I love pinup so much, it's all about embracing your own beauty and uniqueness. You are a beautiful lady, I say go for it!

Ps, I also think of "curves" as the difference between your bust/waist/hip measurements, not your size. It sounds to me like you do have them!

OF COURSE! I am only 98lbs and have always been small, and havnt always been to happy about it. Pinups have always been more curvy because of the time they come out of, but even though all of us dolls would love to actually be from that time we arnt. Now pinup dolls come in many shapes and sizes, and the wonderful thing about being a pinup is that it is all about being confident. You cant be a good pinup without being confident in yourself. Thats why ppl love us because we are so very confident in ourselves and it shows in our print work and personalities. I think no matter what size you are, a doll is a doll and they are all beautiful. So skinny pinups can be amazing too. XOXO The Doll

Yes! You don't need to change your body. Like Roxy said, attitude! Plus, as you start and continue to model you'll start seeing the poses that work well for your shape. Don't buy into what mainstream or some people say is sexy....it takes all kinds. Rock it, show confidence, and be comfortable in your own body. What you see one girl doing may not work for you, and that's okay. Do what's good for you.

Hi Peash,

I asked this same question a while back under a discussion link called "Getting the Curves".  I was wondering how to compensate with costuming tricks.  At least now there are a couple of new pushup bras out there that can add two (!!) sizes, and costuming can give you the hourglass figure.  Go for it, and good luck!
